cleartoenails1Onychomycosis is a very common toenail fungal infection. In fact, approximately 1 out of 10 Americans contract this unsightly, uncomfortable infection which may cause toenails to become:

  • Thick
  • Crumbly
  • Brittle
  • Discolored
  • Distorted
  • Odorous

Left untreated, this toenail fungal infection may even spread to surrounding skin, causing athlete’s foot.

Onychomycosis is a very stubborn condition that can be very difficult to treat by traditional methods. It is highly resistant to at-home remedies, topical treatments, and even strong oral medications (which can, in some cases, lead to liver damage).

While there are some laser protocols that do a somewhat fair, yet superficial job, they don’t always adequately address the deepest layer of growth of the fungus.

To yield optimal results in fighting toenail fungus, a more thorough and holistic approach is necessary. That’s where Northeast Foot Care’s ClearNail Procedure steps in.

The Northeast Foot Care ClearNail Procedure

Northeast Foot Care has developed, and continues to perfect, the ClearNail Procedure—an effective, holistic combination therapy with a 90%+ success rate.

The ClearNail Procedure has shown to be highly effective and is based on industry research and our own patient treatment experiences. This combined treatment protocol consists of testing, nail treatment, and combination therapy to completely kill the fungus anywhere and everywhere it lives…permanently.

The ClearNail Procedure elevates a simple laser technique to an extraordinary level that yields superior results. The process begins with testing.

TESTING. While the treatment of toenail fungus has evolved over the last 10 years, some in the industry have failed to adequately adapt, or take full advantage of the latest technological advancements.

The testing process, for instance, is one example. A simple visual diagnosis of a toenail infection is not enough. Psoriasis and other infections (from bacteria or yeast) can sometimes exhibit symptoms similar to a fungal toenail infection.

After analyzing a small nail sample, our podiatrist will be able to accurately diagnose your condition. If a toenail fungal infection is detected, the patient proceeds to the next phase of treatment.

ADVANCED LASER NAIL TREATMENT.

Older lasers may not be that efficient in eradicating the fungi completely, especially after only one treatment. Research has indicated that multiple treatments do a better job than a one-time session.

Our ClearNail Procedure uses the latest green light laser. With multiple passes over the nail, photo-inactivation of the fungus is triggered, which destroys the genetic material of the fungus. Our green light laser also features a large target area, which effectively kills up to 99.99% of fungal elements in the nail plate, nail bed, and surrounding skin. Ultimately, the Clearnail Procedure is more deadly to the stubborn fungi, and prevents it from reproducing and reinfecting the nail.

COMBINATION THERAPY. A critical, but often overlooked, step is making the environment in, around, and on the nail inhabitable for the fungus. This includes oral pulse dose medication (with little to no effect on the liver or kidneys) to treat the inside of the tissue, while using topical treatments on the nail and surrounding skin, as well as in the patient’s shoes and socks.

We have had tremendous success treating this chronic recurring systemic infection with our comprehensive ClearNail Procedure. In fact, we’ve been able to completely eradicate nearly all cases of nail fungus we encounter.
